we are the pod people
Apple has announced that they have sold 100 million iPods in about 5.5 years. That’s close to one iPod every two seconds. Those are simply unimaginable numbers. Using an average price of $150/pod, that’s about $75/second in income or $15,000,000,000 since the iPod came out.
What amazes me is the number of people I know who don’t have an iPod (yet?). Can anyone honestly picture stuff of this scale in their mind? Is it even within the realm of human ability?
