Great Success
As I mentioned yesterday, I’ve been pretty stressed out about money stuff the last week or two - but today my paycheck landed and it immediately erased my headache. Excellent. A few hours later Melody’s paycheck arrived in the account, too. Double excellent!
We’re still, ya know, broke… and the plumbing bills and car repairs aren’t just going to magically go away… but at least we can afford to eat now! How sad is it when you’re excitedly looking forward to going to the grocery store? Wow… I have no words.

Heh…must interject again…
Today I had to get some groceries/necessities. Had to go to Wal-Mart and get generic brand everything. I walked around the store with a calculator. I had an overflowing cart and still managed to keep it around $80 (and $27 of that was diapers and milk!). I cannot wait until we are out of debt. I figure this time next year we should be debt free (in my eyes, that is. We’ll still have the house, but that is just to be expected). It’ll happen for us both. Slowly and painfully, but it will happen!!!

Hey! I can totally relate. I love knowing I can get whatever I want at the grocery store. I tell you, those last few days leading up to pay day (the 11th, 12th, and 13th) are doozies.

Man, today’s grocery shopping was like the best ever…
@Mel: We spent about $95 today if I remember correctly. Just under that magical $100 mark. I think the getting out of debt thing is kind of fun - like playing a game where you get points in real life or something…
I just hate getting set back by annoying real life things…
@Derek: How’s it going, dude?
