The Nullriver folks added a public package which, if you install it, will add the iApp-a-Day repository to installer.app automatically. Within seconds of the package becoming available, hits started to roll in.
Apple has sold something like 1.2 million iPhones and some estimate that as many as 20% of them are hacked - mostly using Nullriver’s Installer.app. It’s one thing to know a big number like 240,000 - but it’s quite another to really feel it the way my web server is feeling it right now. 
iApp-a-Day has been listed in the public repository for 2 hours and 17 minutes at the time of this writing. In that time, Pumpkin has been downloaded 1,495 times. That’s a download rate of 10.9 per minute! Insane.
