Remember, we veterans served in order to ensure Sean’s right to code and give away apps which you in turn have the right to install…or not. And then of course you have the right to bitch about Sean’s app, though one would display do a not inconsiderable lack of civility in doing so.

i haven’t tried this application yet, but i love all of the interactive ones (Burp, Graffiti, Whisper, and Quest). The others are cool but I lose interest fast. Not saying I don’t appreciate those applications; I know I wouldn’t be able to code an app-a-day.
I wouldn’t even be able to code an app-a-month.

@Sean: Wow I must say I have to give credit to where credit is due. This is an app that could evolve into a kaleidoscope or music visualizer as previously mentioned by Adam. Props on yet another great implementation of a new app.

Left, right, pro- or anti-war, it really doesn’t matter. Today is a day about honoring those men and women that have served and died for this country. Sean, you have done more, with a single app, to show your support for them than any of the posters here. I’m sure the majority here (if the meaning of the day has even occurred to them) have merely regarded it as “another sunday”, but one where they might get Monday off. Thank you, Sean, for what you have created, and for honoring in your own way men and women that do and have done for this country what I don’t think I would even be brave enough to do.

but I have a good app idea: a musical composer, that would let you enter a key signature and meter and then type in notes to make songs or replicate songs, etc. it think this would be a great and useful app

The irony of this is that you are bitching about me not making useful apps - when dealing with all this bitching from you is cutting into my development time. Sean — I know you are busy, but on a productive note, a few questions if I might. Do you ever use xCode to compile? I am trying to move your source for Pumped into xCode, and not sure where to put the bundle, Main.tm, or Makefile.txt. I know if I put the files in a directory, and executed the compiles and Makefile there, I would get the object code, but I was trying to do it in xCode. Any hints? Also, where can I find info on how to post applications or “Sources” to be used in AppTapp? I am a developer of 20+ years, but relatively new to Cocoa and xCode. Any hints, directions, guidance, etc. would be much appreciated.
For what it’s worth, I like Rose, and think something can be learned from looking at it’s source too. Sorry about the worthless people posting garbage. I guess they have nothing better to offer the world, that screaming their garbage into a computer, hoping that someone will read it and care. There are many of us watching what you write, and learning to be iPhone/iTouch developers, and what you are doing is very significant on that front. Keep up the good fight.

@cdeerinck: Well, in order to compile for the iphone you need a cross compiler and a whole other toolchain and such - so I’ve never tried to do it with XCode. It’s been a long time since I’ve used XCode, actually, so I can’t really remember how to set something up off hand. Sorry…
