Day 29: Bonk
This is another one that might be most interesting to kids. Little balls bounce around the screen and make noise when they bump into each other or the wall.
It’s getting close to the end… I’m still not sure what I’m going to make for tomorrow, but I don’t have long to make up my mind.

You better make the ultimate of ultimate apps for tomorrow man. We are all counting on you to go out with a bang. But most of all we are wondering what you will do after iApp-A-Day. I guess you could go back and tweak every app till it’s perfect or you could use your talent and really pump out some great apps with more time. Good work.

@CrownOfThornz: Yeah.. I was afraid people were going to expect something big tomorrow. I’m not sure if I’m going to be able to deliver on that expectation or not. It isn’t like I’ve had more time to work on tomorrow’s app… it’s just as time-constrained as all the others have been.

people should post ideas for sean for tomorrow…
personally I think it should be an app where there is one big text chat room, but also the ability to create your own room for chats with others.
Or maybe just one interactive social that does everything all the other ones do. So the start screen would have buttons for “take a pic of food” “start the mission” “post a picture or comment on the collage” “where in the world are you?” or “whisper something.” that would be a cool app…

@Brooke: Yeah, this app has some static right now. I don’t exactly know why since it uses the same code. It might just be a bug… or perhaps there’s too much going on for the little iPhone CPU. I’m not sure which it is.

Sean - as a developer, I did not expect much from apps written in one day, but you have smashed my expectations. Bravo. Great Job, man!

I just want to say that it will be great to have an application of :
1.-Lava lamp and somehow change the colors
2.-another applications like pantone colors to choose the right colors when someone wants to pick a color to change a wall on the go.
3.- a slot machine

hey that could be a cool and useful idea- a color picker that gives you hex codes (for the web devs and others)

i may become depressed after tommorow, but i expect it wont be the last we hear of sean heber, can you say february?? haha well i guess ill leave my ideas to help you and me out, i really like the chat idea, shouldnt be too hard as you have already made it, its just up to putting it all together into one app. i also would like to see a picture send recieve program, i still do not understand why such an advance phone as the iphone didnt have it to begin with, but at any rate, your a great man and you made november a great month!

Sean - great work - these apps most definitely will be an influence on all to come. One that I really want, and don’t know if it even is possible, is an app to change the background pic on every lock of the phone, that way when you unlock, there is a new picture. I don’t know if there is a way to do that or not, but it would be an app I would use.

Maybe for tomorrow you could create an app that rotates all these sweet wallpapers I have downloaded on my screen… where the user can set the time. Could be cool to have a new wallpaper automatically popup every hour or two. Could make it from a specific photo set.

Dude, a chat room would be awesome. thatd be a pretty nice app for iphone and the touch. but i wouldnt do pictures cuz then 1000’s would end up with a HUUUUGE dick on their screen, not from me, but some pervert. u know how they r

when i open installer, it says “Refreshing sources …” and never loads. what do i do!? i have full internet connection cause im at home. how do i fix this?

@Sean…..maybe an app a week in December???? C’mon I will need my fix, I look forward to these everyday!! Either way, OUTSTANDING work on this, you have set the bar very high for any / all developers come Feb. when the SDK is released…..Will you be doing any work with that? (I REALLY hope you say yes)….get some sleep, you deserve it!

Just wanted to thank you one last time for all the great work you’ve done this month. I know you’ve been through alot of updating and moderating because of the perverts, and you’ve handled it exceptionally. I think i speak for most when i say that we as a community of iphone/itouch owners have really enjoyed all the apps you’ve worked so hard on, and we can only hope you continue to use you talent for more of the fun and useful apps.
Anyway, it seems as if there are two Steves here on the comments, so just to clarify I am the one that suggested the chat app in the 4th comment this morning.
I think the chat thing has really caught on, and I think picture sending would be cool too, so those are ideas if your not quite finished yet. But if the app for tomorrow is already set… Then I suppose you might make those at a later date.
Also, I agree with everyone else in that you should definitly get some rest and a vacation from iPhone dev! Take some time off… But when you come back we can’t wait to see what else you’ll make!
