Wallpaper and 1.1.3
Ok folks, I know a lot of you want Wallpaper to work for 1.1.3. Unfortunately I think it’s going to have to change slightly since the app can no longer write to the system wallpaper directory and a few other places. The reason is mostly because 1.1.3 runs the applications as a different UNIX user which does not have write access to those parts of the filesystem anymore. I’m thinking about what to do about it. It might mean that rather than putting wallpapers into the system, I’ll have to write a wallpaper browser so you can save good ones and access them from within the Wallpaper app itself.

Actually it can be fixed by creating a symlink of mobile/media to root/media.
Saving the wallpaper to camera roll works after that.
As asked in previous post, can you make some like I can browse pic that I want, and then add it back to camera roll? I have all my camera roll photo backed up, but I cant them back to the camera roll after I restore!! Please help!

Just chmod the /Library/Wallpaper/ folder to 777 (grant writing access to everyone)
After that it will work just fine!

I’ve update the site once again. Changed the domain name and added and iphone version of the website. it’s basic, but it works just the same for browsing the images. http://wallpaper.biggsquishy.com.

tested your updated solution for add to camera roll it’s surely a great job but i think it’s a little bit too long and complicated especially comparing to the first add to camera roll fonction : is it normal that when you click on an archived photo it opens a widow which seems to be the photo file’s code???
i’ve tried and surely i didn’t understand because can’t save a photo to the camera roll???
