Wallpaper 1.8
I just released a new version of Wallpaper (with the help of socketface) that should take care of the problems on the 1.1.3 and 1.1.4 firmware. Let me know if it works! There’s more coming - I just can’t talk about it yet.

Hey Sean! I was jailbroken a while ago (1.1.1) but then I restored at 1.1.2 waiting for the SDK. Gave up waiting and back to Jailbreak. Where do I find Wallpaper? I’ve looked all over and Installer doesn’t have it. I LOVE Wallpaper, must have, must have….

@Jeff: In the Sources section in Installer, the iApp-a-Day source should still be there. Add it and then you’ll get the iApp-a-Day section where you can find Wallpaper.

Okay, I found iApp-a-Day in the catagories and I see all your apps EXCEPT Wallpaper.

Weird. Check under the Uninstall and make sure it isn’t somehow showing as still being installed. (If it is, just uninstall and then try to install it fresh.) Maybe something got glitched somewhere. The new version has been downloaded 10,000+ times, so it’s got to be there somewhere.

Wow, you’re good. It was in Uninstall but not showing up. I uninstalled it and then reinstalled it and now its there! Cool, thanks. Way back I was thinking it would be cool if you could click on a “Porn” button when you saw something over the top. If a wallpaper got more than 6 clicks then that IP would be blocked. I don’t dig censorship but it’s such a great app and I always saw people complaining about it. I showed it to my nephews and nieces and they thought it was cool till a big ol’ hairy junk package showed up. Embarrassed all of us…. Thanks again!

6 clicks would prevent random attacks on someone because the length that the wallpaper is up would prevent someone from repeatedly clicking and it would take 6 people to pretty much all click within a few seconds before a wallpaper disappeared. I don’t mind nudity, I just don’t need to see junk close up… Still love the app though, just thought it was an interesting idea to make it better… I really think your little project was IMMENSELY important and that some of your apps were thinking way out of the box at the time. I think the fact that it includes people from all over the world is so significant but it’s really embarrassing when the porn boys get in there and I shudder to think what people from other countries think when they see that.

Ok, I have a 1.1.3 jailbroke iPod touch with Wallpaper 1.7 installed and working great. I have Wallpaper 1.8 in Installer’s Update section but everytime I click update it loads then I get “Error - Main script execution faled”. Well I’m continuing to greatly enjoy Wallpaper, and I appreciate your work - Thanks!

Update - I just did some house cleaning and dumped a few non-working programs and some working programs that I just didn’t want and then - Wa-La - it installed. Thanks again!

well done and thanks for wallpaper 1.8 it just came back as it was before 1.1.3 problems: simply excellent!!!
the same app with possibility to add comments under the photos (not only our photos but even stranger’s photos) would be a very funny app. you know how we are made when we get what we’re looking for we always ask for more:))

hi .. love your app .. but after i updated to 1.8 on my 1.1.1 the wallpapers are not getting saved .. any chance of putting up the old 1.7 for us 1.1.1 users .. i really like your app !!!!!

Hey guys, I love the app as much as you guys except im on an iPod Touch. This doesnt all me to save to my camera roll so I can select the pictues i want to delete.
